George of the Jungle!

The theme for Vrishti's nursery has been Animals and the Jungle. She has a jungle crib mobile, dino crib set and loads of animals on the wall behind her crib(hand made by her father, grandma and me). She even got a jungle play gym as a gift from Ashwin.

There is a small tale to this jungle theme actually. In the beginning of september when I was still carrying her, Hari had taken us to Six Flags and has promised to take me on the jungle safari as I was not able to go on any of the rides. But due to some reasons (and also because hari wanted to go and eat an Indian dinner before any of the restaurants closed) hari convinced me to drop the idea. He promised we would do it the coming weekend. Two weekends passed with no luck. It was either raining or car broke down. The next weekend he told me that the safari had been closed for the season. Later I found out it was a lie. I so desperately wanted to see the jungle safari but he just wouldn't take me. Now he promises that he will take me and baby the coming summer. Hmph! Lets see.

P.s : Updating on Jul 8th - This year's summer is short as we are spending 3 months in India. Sooooo....hari if u ever re-read the post.... i am still waiting.
